It depends on the environment where Lithification takes place, for example in desert environment. In desert regions moisture is needed which can cause sediments to stick to one another, almost like glue.
Sailing rocks are rocks in a desert that move by themselves!! No one actually knows how this is possible, but the most common explamation is that after thunderstorm water that flows on the surface pushes the rocks forward!!
